KEY DATES & INFO The 2026 World Rowing Virtual Indoor Championships, presented by Concept2 will take place on 2 weekends:
Saturday 21/Sunday 22 February 2026 for the Continental Heats Saturday 28 February 2026 for the Finals that will be streamed Live.

1000 meters individual and teams 5000 meters individual and teams 1 minute individual

What is the EXR Invitational? The EXR Invitational is a 5K race hosted by British Rowing and EXR. It brings the virtual indoor rowing community together to compete live at the British Rowing Indoor Championships. How to race at the EXR Invitational: Log into your EXR account to sign up for the EXR Invitational Qualifier events on the EXR website or in the app. Complete at least 1 of the 6 events. You can compete as often as you like. Your best time will be ranked on the leaderboard. On 10 November, the top 50 rowers will receive an email informing them about their qualification. Confirm your participation at the EXR Invitational until 16 November. On 7 December, race at the EXR Invitational in Birmingham! You can check your ranking at any time on the Qualifiers leaderboard, which displays the best times of all racers on the EXR website.
